Troubleshooting Guide
Common issues and their solutions to help you resolve problems quickly.
Login Problems
Issue: Can't Sign In
Solution:
- Verify your email address is correct
- Check if Caps Lock is on (passwords are case-sensitive)
- Try resetting your password using "Forgot Password"
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try using a different browser

On the sign-in page, look for the "Forgot Password" link below the password field. Click it to reset your password via email.
Issue: Google Sign-In Not Working
Solution:
- Make sure pop-ups are enabled in your browser
- Check if you're blocking third-party cookies
- Try signing in with email/password instead
- Clear browser cache and try again

When clicking "Sign in with Google", check if a pop-up window appears. If not, check your browser's pop-up blocker settings in the address bar.
PDF Generation Issues
Issue: PDF Not Downloading
Solution:
- Check your browser's download settings
- Look in your Downloads folder - the file may have downloaded automatically
- Disable browser extensions that block downloads
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Check if you have sufficient storage space

After clicking "Download PDF", check the bottom of your browser for a download notification or check your browser's download history (usually accessible via Ctrl+J or Cmd+J).
Issue: PDF Formatting Problems
Solution:
- Make sure all invoice fields are filled correctly
- Check if company logo is uploaded (if using)
- Verify company information in Settings
- Try generating the PDF again

Before generating PDF, review the invoice preview. Make sure all information is correct. Go to Settings to verify your company details are complete.
Data Not Loading
Issue: Invoices/Customers Not Showing
Solution:
- Refresh the page (F5 or Ctrl+R / Cmd+R)
- Check your internet connection
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Log out and log back in
- Check browser console for error messages (F12)

If data isn't loading, look for a loading spinner or "No data" message. Check the browser's developer console (F12) for any error messages that might indicate the issue.
Issue: Slow Loading Times
Solution:
- Check your internet connection speed
- Close unnecessary browser tabs
- Disable browser extensions that might slow things down
- Clear browser cache
- Try using a different browser

If pages are loading slowly, you'll see a loading spinner or the page will take a long time to respond. Check your browser's network tab (F12 → Network) to see what's taking time.

Issue: Features Not Working
Solution:
- Update your browser to the latest version
- Enable JavaScript (should be enabled by default)
- Disable browser extensions that might interfere
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try using Chrome or Firefox if issues persist
